Gabe Garcia

Gabriel (he/him/they/any) is an English PhD student specializing in Rhetoric and Writing Studies. As a Teaching Assistant, Gabriel currently teaches two undergraduate sections of English. Gabriel’s current research interests include anti-racist approaches to teaching composition and literature, decolonial rhetorics, precarity theory, critical race theory, queer of color theory, intersectional theory, labor based grading, theatre, Shakespeare, science fiction, and pop culture. Gabriel also holds a minor in Nonprofit Management and has more than a decade of professional experience as a grant writer.
