Why Sign a Card?

  • Elections: Being a card-signed member allows you to vote on officers and ensure that your voice is a part of the collective vision of our union!
  • Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Decisions: Any contracts negotiated between UGW and the UNM Administration must be approved by our membership – that is by card-signed members!
