Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Rent Help New Mexico

The Emergency Rental Assistance program makes available $170 million to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rental and utility assistance is available to households who are obligated to pay rent on a residential dwelling. Rental assistance can be used for unpaid, current, and future rent and utilities. Funding may also be available for other housing-related expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Lobo Food Pantry

Students will have an opportunity to fill a basket with grocery offerings of their choice. Students are required to sign a waiver for the semester and provide general identifying information (name, email, UNM ID number) when visiting the pantry in order to help us track the number of visits they use each month.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Tuesday & Thursday – 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. & 3-5 p.m.

Student Emergency Scholarship

University of New Mexico, El Centro de la Raza

The Student Emergency Scholarship is available to any degree-seeking UNM student who can demonstrate critical financial need for the current semester. Selected undergraduate students will be awarded up to $400 and selected graduate/professional students will be awarded up to $450.
