Jadin (they/them) is a second-year MA student in Linguistics and has been a PA & TA in the department. This semester, they are teaching Language & Society and working on their research on the Cherokee language. They are passionate about organizing with fellow graduate workers because we have to fight to get what we deserve for our labor. Jadin has been an elected steward for linguistics since 2023, organizing general membership around two rounds of compensation negotiations, informing their department of their rights as union workers, and building community where they can.
